The University of Chichester offers a number of routes to becoming a teacher and gaining QTS.

 

Undergraduate Programmes
BA (Hons) Primary Education and Teaching
A 3 year degree with specialisms in Citizenship, Early Years, English, ICT, Maths or Science
(Also available as a part time degree)
BA (Hons) Mathematics and Teaching for Key Stages Two and Three
A 3 year degree preparing teachers for Upper Primary and Lower Secondary Schools
(Also available as a part time degree)
BA (Hons) Physical Education (Secondary Age Range)
A 4 year degree taught in the School of Physical Education

 

Postgraduate Programmes
PGCE Primary
A one year (full time) programme preparing teachers for the 5-11 age range
An optional specialist route in Modern Languages (French or Spanish)
Also available as a part-time programme (2 years)
PGCE Secondary
A one year (full time) programme with specialisms in Design Technology, English, History, ICT, Mathematics, Physical Education, Religious Education and Science
