Role

Vivienne is an ICT tutor for the Primary team.

Experience

Vivienne has 10 years of teaching experience in the primary school working across all year groups. She co-ordinated many subject areas including ICT, citizenship, careers and music and was the chairperson of a Music Festival Association for a large pyramid of schools. She has been working at the University of Chichester for over 10 years within ICT and works on a variety of programmes including BA(QTS) Primary Education, PGCE Primary and BA (Hons) IT Management for Business.

Interests

Vivienne’s research interests are all linked to ICT and effective e-learning. She has particular interest in the use of VLEs to support learning and has used learning platforms extensively for over 8 years. She has recently conducted projects about Peer Learning through Blogging and One Minute Wonder movies to support science knowledge for training teachers. Vivienne is an advisory member of the Sussex Networked e-Learning project group.
