Dick is a part-time Senior Lecturer.

Experience

Dick has worked at the University since 1997 and teaches on both the BA Primary Education and PGCE courses teaching Curriculum Art, Creativity and Professional Studies modules.

Prior to working at the University Dick gained a BA Honours Degree in Humanities. He was a headteacher of a local school for 9 years.

Dick runs art and sculpture workshops for local school children when he is not working at the University.

Interests

Dick is an accomplished artist, painting in acrylic paints, incorporating texturing materials and sometimes sand and gravel from sites worldwide. He also creates scupltures in various mediums and exhibits both his paintings and sculptures in a range of art galleries.
