Role

Antony is the Co-ordinator for Professional Studies for the Secondary PGCE.   He also works in the CPD team, teaching MA (Ed) modules on Mentorship, Emotional Intelligence and Leading from the Middle

Experience

Before joining the University of Chichester, Antony was Head of the Human Arts Faculty and Professional Tutor in one of our partner schools. At the University Antony has taught on the Primary and Secondary PGCE Programmes and worked extensively on the CPD Programme.

Interests

Within his work at the University, Antony is particularly interested in all aspects of mentoring and coaching, seeing both these roles as crucially developmental to student teachers and indeed to schools. Additionally, all aspects of emotional intelligence interest him and teaching a module on this subject has given Antony the opportunity to learn how many schools are responding to, and benefiting from emotionally intelligent teaching and learning.
