Graduate Certificate in Professional Development (CiPD)

This course is for qualified teachers who are serious about their professional development and would like to:
- Gain accreditation possibly at Masters’ level.
- Meet ‘performance management’ or ‘threshold standards’ criteria.
- Provide evidence of their contribution to their school/team’s development
- Enhance their career and promotion prospects.
The programme of accreditation is individually negotiated and supported by a University tutor.
Attendance
Part time from 6 to 24 months
Entry Requirements
You must be a qualified teacher working in a West Sussex, Croydon or Greenwich LEA school.
Willing to compile a Professional Development Portfolio of 3,000 – 3,500 words, which will benefit your practice, your pupils’ learning and your school.
Have the ability to participate in 25 hours of professional development of your choosing.
Fees
Currently free to West Sussex LEA teachers
£200 for Greenwich LEA teachers, but please contact Maggie Croxford maggie.croxford@greenwich.gov.uk at your LEA first
