Personal Introduction

Philippe started work at the University of Chichester in January 2006 having previously taught part time at Brighton University and in the Further Education Sector. His main interest in the sociology of sport is investigating culturally specific sports within Great Britain, principally American football and Australian Rules. He actually played both of these sports at representative level and previously held a regional sports development post for British American football on the south coast. Philippe lectures on both the Sports Studies and the Community Sports Coaching degrees. Philippe has a range of personal coaching experience and is an accredited tutor for several NGB awards.
