Personal Introduction

Paul started work at the University of Chichester in 2003 having taught in FE for a period of years. Paul is the Programme Coordinator for the Sports Coaching Science degree. Paul is a an active coach, who has coached at all levels in hockey. At present Paul coaches the university men's hockey side, and is a coach educator for the England Hockey Board. Paul is an assessor for vocational programmes and is a Internal Verifier for the England Hockey Board

Current teaching

Paul will be responsible for the following modules:

• Analysis of Coaching Practice – (double module)
• Issues in Sports Coaching Science
• Work Placement

Administration

Paul is the Sports Coaching Science Programme Coordinator and the Sports Coaching Science Admissions Tutor.  In additon to these roles Paul is a member of the institution Race, Religion and Belief Equality Group

External Examining:

University of Bedfordshire: Sports Science and Coaching undergraduate programme and Foundation Degree programme with partner colleges
