Inter(act)

“Inter(act) …
… is a festival of new contemporary theatre and performance made by final-year Performing Arts students at the University of Chichester."
Inter(act): Thursday, 28th April 2011, from 2pm Location: The ShowRoom, University of Chichester Contact: showroom@chi.ac.uk
Based in the ShowRoom, but spreading out over a number of other spaces, Inter(act) will surprise, stimulate, intrigue, occasionally shock, but continually delight. Starting in the afternoon, audiences get a chance to see a tremendous range of diverse performance work, reflecting very different ideas that have emerged from our students this year. You can see short solo pieces; rehearsed readings of new texts; reinterpretations of old texts; installations and intimate encounters… and, in the evening, a couple of great newshows…

Inter(act) is open (and free!) to all our friends, old and new: colleagues within the University, prospective applicants to the University, teachers and student groups, industry professionals, ex-students, practicing artists and everyone else who loves good theatre. Come for a bit, or stay the whole day; take pot-luck or ask us for more details: either way, don’t miss this chance for a bit of excitement!
For people coming from outside the University who want to know more about our work, we are more than happy to arrange talks and tours from staff and students. Refreshments and snacks will be available all day. A small reception is planned for early evening.
