Parameters is an exhibition of work-in-progress produced by the first cohort of students embarking upon the MA Fine Art programme at the University of Chichester in September 2008. It showcases a selection of formative works that display the progression and development of ideas by each individual.

The Fallen House and Other Voices: a collaboration between painter Jayne Sandys-Renton and poet Stephanie Norgate.

These paintings and poems are the result of a yearlong collaboration. Jayne and Stephanie responded to each other’s work-in-progress, to rough drafts, sketches, early paintings and to places. Jayne’s fascination with the body in the landscape, and Stephanie’s voicing of buildings, water, graffiti and stones play off each other to form different though complementary suggestions in an exhibition where every element is seen as alive and in an intriguing relationship.

24th March – 20th April

Visit Britain explores the relationship between the British landscape and tourism in the early 20th Century. The exhibition includes work by prominent artists such as Graham Sutherland, Paul Nash and Edward McKnight Kauffer.
