Choral Studies

Music at Chichester can offer a particular focus on choral music and associated areas of study. The Music Department is renowned for its strength in choral music (over 40% of our students are first study singers) and has a chamber choir of international standing.

University of Chichester Choral Studies

In the UK, the choir has performed in the cathedrals of Liverpool, York, Lincoln, Salisbury, Winchester, Norwich, Canterbury, Rochester, Portsmouth and, of course, Chichester where they sing services at frequent intervals.

There are regular international tours - recently a four concert summer tour of the Czech Republic and a Christmas visit to Germany where the University's Chamber Choir enjoyed singing in Berlin Cathedral at the invitation of the German Evangelical Church Union.
