I re-joined the university in June 2008, having spent four years at the University of Brighton, where I headed up Student Recruitment and Admissions. My role as Head of Admissions at Chichester is varied and involves me in market analysis, policy development, widening participation initiatives, relations with schools and colleges, liaison with admissions tutors, and overseeing the Admissions service. I am a Politics graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. |

Whilst there I spent seven years as work experience officer arranging work placements for year eleven students. I then spent four years working as attendance officer. I managed to improve the attendance record at this school to be amongst the best in West Sussex. |

During my time there I gained experience in working with students and an invaluable insight into the education sector. My role in the Admissions team is mainly dealing with undergraduate applications and ensuring that each applicant is dealt with in a timely and fair manner. I studied my degree at London Guildhall University and gained at 2:1 in Communications. |

My role is to link with schools and colleges in the local area, offering support to their career activities and to advise the students on issues related to Higher Education. Our aim is to inform students about Higher Education, what the University of Chichester has to offer them so they can make an educated and informed decision on their next steps in education. I studied my degree at Portsmouth University and gained a 2:1 in Business Studies. |
