IT Services is responsible for all IT activities across the University, operating from the Learning Resource Centre at the Chichester campus and the IT Centre at Bognor Regis.

IT Operations - James Mason

Management of the IT Infrastructure, including data centre operations, servers and storage, network and data communications, technical standards.

IT Service Delivery – Matthew Argyle

Delivery of all user-facing services, including:

  • A “one-stop-shop” Service Desk shared with Estates and Facilities Management and supporting students and staff
  • Open Access computing suites at both University campuses
  • A specialist Media Centre with hardware, software and support for video and image processing, based on Apple Macintosh computers

Development and  management of the University’s key corporate systems, supporting processes such as Student Records, Human Resource and Financial Management and reporting. 

Web and e-learning - Roger Holden

Development, implementation and support for the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), based on the Moodle platform.  Technical management of the University’s internal and external web sites.
