Can I work in the UK after my studies?

EU/EEA students have an automatic right to look for work in the UK.

If you are an International Student (non-EU) who has graduated in the UK, it may also be possible for you to work in the UK for at least 24 months under Tier 1 (Post Study Work) of the new Home Office Points Based System. Please note: this route will be removed in April 2012, so if you are about to graduate or will not complete your course until after April 2012, the Tier 1 (Post Study Work) option will not be available.
