Graduation 2012

The University holds its graduation ceremonies at Chichester Festival Theatre. The Theatre is planning a package of alternations and improvements and won’t be able to let us know availability for the autumn until late February/early March 2012.

Honorary Awards 2011

Honorary Fellowship – Emilian Dascal

One of the foremost musicians in the world, is Solo Viola with the St Gallen Symphony Orchestra (the oldest orchestra in Switzerland) and Head of Strings at the St Gallen Conservatoire as well as being the Artistic Director of The European Strings and several international festivals.

Honorary Fellowship – Professor Jo Shapcott

Professor Jo Shapcott has been a pioneer among contemporary British writers and her books and poetry collections have been celebrated by a long list of literary prizes

Honorary Master of Arts – Talan Skeels-Piggins

A PE teacher who trained at the University of Chichester and a former Royal Navy fighter controller, Talan Skeels-Piggins was a member of the RN Ski Team. He suffered a motorcycle accident in 2003 which changed his life and his career.

The trio received their awards alongside nearly 1300 students at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Read more>>
