John Stapleton

John Stapleton joined the Board of Governors in January 2009 as a Church Governor. John was educated at Oakham School and Southampton University and qualified as a solicitor in 1973. He became a partner of Thomas Eggar in 1976 and was Managing Partner from 1993 to 2004. He remains a partner of Thomas Eggar in the corporate mergers and acquisition team.

John has acted as Chairman of two public companies. John is also currently a member the CBI Regional Council for the South East and chair of the Crawley Borough Council Local Economy Action Group

John is a member of the Audit Committee.
