Specialism: The Value of Cloth.
Vicki is a textile artist working predominately in hand rolled felt, colour and form. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and also held in the 20th Century collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
Vicki’s research is informed by the early historical and cultural significance of felt and the notion of 'value' attached to cloth. She has wide experience of working with children and community groups in arts projects, recently (2005) working with Creative Partnerships and Making It Work project, ‘Making Meaning and Materials M3 by the M4.’
Recent exhibitions, ‘Drawing on Research’ at The Otter Gallery (2008) and Worthing Museum and Art Gallery ‘Interventions’ responding to the collection of the museum. Her work is in public and private collections.
