FAQ's
1. How long is the MA?
- 1 year full time or 2 years part time, September to September (i.e. including the summer months).

3. On which days does it take place?
- Formal contact time is likely to be on Wednesday evenings (to be confirmed) (alternating between the theoretical lectures/seminars and the Web Development modules), negotiable times for practical 1-1 tutorials, and group crits are scheduled on irregular Thursdays from 3pm (negotiable). Full-time generates approximately 40 hours of work per week, Part-time generates approximately 20 hours per week, so you will make up the remainder of the work time as you see fit.
4. Is studio space provided?
- Yes for full-time (in the artOne studios alongside the BA students), but part-time would need to have their own studios elsewhere (they may negotiate space during the summer when the BA students are away). ALL MA students have access to ALL the workshops (inc technical support), and to open access spaces.

7. Is the MA primarily theoretical or practical?
- Primarily practical (See credits on module
information)
8. What is a credit?
- 1 Credit is expected to generate 10 hours actual work (ie contact time
AND your own self-directed working time).
9. Can I opt out mid way through and still get a qualification?
- Yes, 2/3 of the way through, prior to the dissertation, you can exit with a post-graduate diploma.
10. Would I need to be interviewed?
