Fiona Price is a Lecturer in English at University of Chichester. She has written extensively on eighteenth-century women's writing and aesthetics. She is currently working on a monograph on the historical novel in the decades before Sir Walter Scott's Waverley (1814), and her edition of the historical novel Jane Porter's The Scottish Chiefs (1810) has been published by Broadview. Fiona would be particularly interested in supervising PhD-level students in the area of late eighteenth-century women's writing or the eighteenth-century historical novel. Fiona is also a founding member of the South Coast Eighteenth-Century and Romantic Research Group (visit Scerrg website) which aims to provide a dynamic research environment for staff and postgraduates working in the long eighteenth century.
