Virgina is a professional choreographer/director, Virginia’s work is influenced by early contact with Expressionist theatre. She is artistic director of Disco Sister productions, dedicated to making work for site-specific settings. In 1999 she was awarded a travelling scholarship to visit and research Butoh in Japan and, more recently, her writing Dances for Street Corners, has been published as part of the Users’ Guide to Street Theatre (2003).
Virgina leads the MA Choreography and Collaborations module.
