Lizzie Swinford MA
Associate Lecturer
Lizzie Swinford is a freelance dancer and teacher based in Southampton. On completing a history degree at York University she studied dance at the London Contemporary Dance School where she was a member of the performance group 4D and gained an M.A in dance performance. Since leaving she has gained experience as a performer, teacher and community dance worker. She is interested in exploring new settings and opportunities for people to experience dance and is currently working on the Present Moves project in which she creates bespoke dances to be given as gifts to individuals.
Lizzie teaches contemporary technique, choreography as well as contextual modules on the undergraduate programme.
