Dance Courses

BA (Hons) Dance
Dance offers a challenging experience and the opportunity to extend and
develop your technical and choreographic skills, whilst studying and developing
skills in analysis, critical theory, new technology and an understanding
of dance within a wider perspective. The course is broad-based dance education
and training that can lead to a variety of career outcomes, such as a community
dance artist, an arts administrator, a dance teacher or as a choreographer
in your own company! Choreography is the central focus of study; developing
the creative, imaginative and interpersonal skills that will help you to
realise your dance potential.
Dance students have many opportunities to perform – in our own Studio Theatre as part of the regular showings of current student work, through performances in local theatres, schools and touring further afield in the 3-Fall Dance Company.
