Childhood Studies

Students will analyse the philosophies and value systems that underpin working with and caring for young children. As the course continues students will revisit these topics in greater depth and this process will be supported by placements in a variety of Early Years’ settings, such as: schools, nurseries, portage services, hospitals, Sure Start and family centres.
