Katie
Katie Taylor - Year 1 rep

Katie Taylor - Year 2 rep

I am Katie Taylor, a first year at the University of Chichester. I live about 40 minutes away from the campus and commute in for lectures.

The University appealed to me because of its size. It is a small University and not too daunting, everybody is friendly and you’re never too far from a familiar face. It also offered the best facilities for the course I wanted to do.

Rebecca
Rebecca Mansfield - Year 2 rep

Rebecca Mansfield -Year 3 rep

I am a second year at Chichester at the moment and I couldn’t be happier here. I love socialising and it is so easy in Chichester as the Uni has such a close community atmosphere. The Uni has so many sports and recreation societies which brings students together even though I am not part of a team I have often found myself supporting and celebrating with the Chichester teams.

Emma

Emma Ide -Year 3 top up group

Hi my names Emma and I came to join the university as a mature student, after the government’s response to raising qualifications for those already established and working in the childcare industry. I have just completed my Foundation Degree in ECS and I’m just embarking on my BA (Hons) ECS. I have really enjoyed my three years at uni and along with my group have felt very welcomed by all the tutors here

Victoria
Victoria Evans - Year 3 rep

Victoria Evans -Last year's Year 3 rep

My name is Victoria and I am a third year student on the BA (Hons) Childhood Studies in Early Years programme. It feels very strange writing that I am a third year student as it does not seem that long ago that I was in your shoes choosing universities and getting ready to start a new chapter of my life. University is such an exciting time for me which has enabled me to prosper.

I am a bubbly individual who enjoys helping others and socialising and university has helped me to enhance my social skills and meet new people. I have enjoyed watching different plays that the university has produced (through their drama department). I have also been able to attend some music events to support my housemates that have been organised by them and their music department. These are opportunities that I have not been able to experience before.

Kat
Kat Link - Year 3 rep

Kat Link - Last year's Year 3 rep

I’m Kat, a 3rd year course rep. Alongside the course I work as a care worker for children with learning disabilities. I have really enjoyed my time on the course, and as I come to the end I have found the course has opened doors and ways of thinking I wasn’t aware of until doing this course. After graduating I will be doing an MSc in Applied Psychology of Intellectual Disabilities.
