Chichester College Chichester College

Chichester College provides a very wide range of courses from its Chichester and Brinsbury campuses. The College has been successfully offering higher education courses for many years and is delighted to offer the Foundation Degree in Community Sports Coaching and the Foundation Degree in Health Promotion and Personal Training in partnership with the University of Chichester. The College will also offer a Foundation Degree in Hospitality and Event Management (subject to validation) through the University of Chichester from September 2009.

The largest College in Surrey, Guildford College of Further and Higher Education offers a wide range of courses at its three sites; Stoke Park, Merrist Wood and Farnham College. 40 vocationally focused Higher Education programmes validated by leading universities provide key skills and knowledge for employment. Chichester University validates the new Foundation Degree in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, designed to prepare students for a successful teaching career within the Lifelong Learning Sector.

The Isle of Wight College has Beacon Status and is recognised by OFSTED as being in the top 10% of GFE Colleges in the sector, with an outstanding approach to social and educational inclusion, working effectively to meet the needs of the island community.

The College's reputation for the high standard of its HE delivery was confirmed during a recent QAA IQER-pilot review; the high quality of the relationships the college has with its HE partners was cited as best practice.

The college is in partnership with the University of Chichester to provide a range of HE courses, including Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies; HNC Engineering; HNC/HND Graphic Design. Work is underway currently to offer a FD in Graphic Design and HNC/D in Computing and Software Development from September 2008.

Platform One Platform One

Platform One is an independent, not-for-profit youth arts organisation specialising in the development and delivery of arts initiatives and training opportunities for young people on the Isle of Wight. Platform One’s primary aim is to ensure that increasing numbers of young people are provided with the opportunity to be involved in creative and stimulating projects.  An exciting collaboration with the University of Chichester is the Foundation Degree in Commercial Music which offers students a unique opportunity to acquire a range of skills and knowledge relating to the music industry of today.

Slough Borough Council Slough Borough Council

In partnership with Slough Borough Council the University offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership, which provides already competent and experienced professionals time to develop as reflective managers. Each delegate develops a tailor made plan of work-based and self-managed learning that fits their individual needs and matches the requirements of their role at the Council.

Sussex Police Sussex Police

Sussex police recruit from the communities of Sussex. New recruits range in age from 19 to 49 and many have academic backgrounds as diverse as the communities they represent.

The Foundation Certificate in Policing with Communities (Year One, Mandatory) and the Foundation Degree in Policing with Communities (Year Two, Optional) are validated by the University of Brighton in collaboration with the University of Chichester. New recruits join the university as civilians and on successful completion of the programme leave as qualified police officers.

County Hall Chichester West Sussex County Council

West Sussex County Council is the provider of 80% of public services across the county and works closely with the University of Chichester on a broad spectrum of courses some of which are tailored to meet individual needs. The University accredits specific programmes for the council through its portfolio based and practitioner research modules.

Two exciting collaborative programmes which link to the management competence framework are the Foundation Degree in Management and the Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership.
