Study abroad opportunities outside of Europe

Study abroad opportunities outside of Europe are known as international exchanges. Below you will find information for Chichester students interested in taking part in an international exchange.
Information for Chichester students
Where can I go?
You can only take part in an international exchange if the department in which you study has an exchange partnership with another university; please see the list of exchange partnerships outside of Europe for more information. If your subject area is not listed, your department may have an Erasmus exchange partnership, which would mean you may be able to take part in a European exchange. For further information, please visit Study abroad in Europe with Erasmus
What will I do whilst I am abroad?
You will study at the partner university alongside home students, following courses that are relevant to your subject area and the credits that you earn will count towards your Chichester degree.
When will I go and for how long?
You will normally go during your second year for either one semester or the whole year.
How will I finance living abroad?
Financing the period abroad is your responsibility and is something you should consider before making the decision to go. It's worth noting that you will not have to pay any fees to your host institution and your eligibility for a student loan will not be affected.
What other things do I need to consider?
Please see the University's Guide for Outgoing Exchange Students for a summary of all of the things you need to consider before going abroad.
