Diversity

Prejudice and bias can take many forms and can be a major concern in the job market. Some areas are covered by legislation others are still waiting for recognition. The Equality and Human Rights Commission is the statory body with the responsibility to protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven "protected" grounds - age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and gender reassignment. If you are concerned that any of your characteristics have put you at risk of discrimination come and see us. We can discuss tactics, suggest organisations that provide help and look at issues such as disclosure and job hunting. Below are some key links you may find useful.
