Thursday 11th February

11.00 – 14.00 in the Chapel on the Bishop Otter Campus.

With the increasing number of graduates competing for positions along with the effect of the recession on the number of jobs, finding a position after graduation is becoming increasingly challenging. Therefore it is crucial to use every opportunity possible to meet employers and gain advice on entering the jobs market.

A fantastic opportunity to meet:

  • Graduate employers – offering their first-hand advice on getting into a specific sector and the jobs market in general
  • Organisations – offering advice ranging from starting your own business to working in the public or charity sector
  • Careers Advice – offering CV, application and interview advice, as well as tips if you’re not sure what you want to do or where to start
  • Postgraduate study representatives – offering advice on postgraduate courses, as well as information on getting into teaching

If you’re in your first or second year this is a brilliant opportunity to find out what you can do now to increase your prospects when you finish.

If you’re in your final year this is a vital opportunity to talk to employers and gain advice on job hunting – the next few months are crucial for you to get the job you want.
