International Applicants

Chichester will consider other certificated learning which it deems to be the equivalent of traditional UK qualifications. This may include qualifications gained outside the UK which are equivalent to the general entrance requirements of UK higher education by the UK National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).
We accept School Leaving / University Entrance qualifications from across the European Union (including the Abitur, Apolytirion, Diploma di Maturita, French Baccalaureate and Studentexamen) and from around the world. English Language Requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate an adequate command of both written and spoken English; this will require successful completion of an approved test in English such as the Cambridge Proficiency Certificate at grade C or above, or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall mark of 6.0 (for undergraduate programmes) and 6.0 - 6.5 (for postgraduate programmes, depending on the course).
For undergraduate programmes combined with International English Studies, the entry criteria is IELTS 5.5.
All four language proficiency components (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing) must be at least at the level of IELTS 5.5.
