A2s (A Levels)

At least two A2-level passes, one of which should normally be in a subject relevant to the chosen course

AND at least three GCSE or GCE-O level passes (A to C grades or CSE grade 1) in subjects other than those taken for A-level.

OR A combination of a full A2-level pass and a BTEC National Award with subject contents relevant to the chosen degree course

AND at least three GCSE or GCE-Olevel passes (A to C grades or CSE grade 1) in subjects other than those taken for BTEC/A2 level.

OR

BTEC National Certificate

A pass at BTEC National Certificate level with subject contents relevant to the chosen degree course (if specified in specific course entry criteria)

AND at least three GCSE or GCE-Olevel passes (A to C grades or CSE grade 1) in subjects other than those taken for BTEC/A2 level.

OR

BTEC National Diploma

A pass at BTEC National Diploma Level with subject contents relevant to the chosen degree course

AND at least two GCSE or GCE-Olevel passes (A to C grades or CSE grade 1) in subjects other than those taken for BTEC.

OR

Access Courses

A pass in an access course approved by Chichester including subject contents relevant to the chosen degree course. For applicants without GCSEs, please note that the Access course MUST include official proven GCSE equivalence in English, Maths (and Science if applicable) for teacher education courses and other courses that require these GCSE subjects.

AS Levels

AS Levels (not taken through to full A2 level) will only be taken into account as EXTRA qualifications on top of the minimum requested above. Two AS level passes WILL NOT be considered to be equivalent to one full A2 level pass.
