Short Courses – Teachers of English

Short Courses for English Teachers offers a wide range of courses for teachers and other education professionals throughout the year. Extended courses and short courses are available for practising or intending teachers of English at Tertiary, Secondary and Primary school levels. We specialise in courses for teachers wishing to improve their competence in English relating to their own professional needs or to the teaching of subjects through the medium of English.
We provide programmes in:

- The Teaching of Subjects through the Medium of English.
- School-based Management.
The University’s reputation in this area is internationally acknowledged. We design tailor-made and externally commissioned short courses to sponsors’ requirements from initial to post-experience levels and provide training programmes in the UK and overseas. In recent years, we have been commissioned by Overseas Ministries of Education, Education Bureaux and the British Council to organise courses for groups of teachers from:
