Foundation Degree What Do Employers Gain?
We are currently working with Skills Active www.skillsactive.com and Foundation Degree Forward www.fdf.ac.uk in order to develop our Foundation Degree programme in line with the employers and employees needs.
Following attendance at the first Skills Active / Higher Education conference 2006, the following points were emphasised.

- Professionalise and Upskill Existing Workforce
- Link in with UK Coaching Certificate
- Link in with Accredited Practitioner (Inst of Outdoor Learning)
- Switch emphasis to work-based learning
- Support industry drive to create national frameworks that support career development
