Foundation Degree Residential's

The Foundation Degree in Adventure Education also incorporates two periods of ‘residential’ experience. These provide extended periods of learning in the adventure environment where the links between theory and practice can be explored and developed. These periods provide opportunities for you to work alongside the experienced staff team in the field. The first year residential week that takes place in the Gower focuses on adventure pedagogy and the principles of adventure facilitation. The second that takes place in the French Alps helps you apply basic psychological and physiological concepts and theories to activities in the adventure environment.
