Foundation Degree in Adventure Education

What is a Foundation Degree
Foundation Degrees are a relatively new Higher Education qualification that have been developed to combine vocational skills with academic knowledge and understanding. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals who require a flexible form of learning and who may, because of their circumstances, find it difficult to access existing and traditional Higher Education Degree programmes.
The work place is recognised as a valuable learning environment, so a considerable amount of Foundation Degrees' content is delivered and assessed without the need to attend extensive campus-based modules.
To read more about campus-based modules, visit Foundation Modules
Foundation Degrees also provide an alternative route to appropriate Degree programmes (Level 2 or 3) for successful candidates.
